The Rebirth

Since it opened, The Labourdonnais has enjoyed a strong reputation as the leading business hotel in Mauritius. However, the 5* venue has witnessed little change over the years in terms of décor and style. A major refurbishment was planned in 2015 and the hotel would be closed for two months. Rebranding was on its way…

To keep in touch with clients, travel agents, local guests and visitors, a series of mini video clips branded ‘Entr’Acte’ was posted regularly on Facebook, before and during closure. Management and staff members, representing the face, hands and heart of the hotel shared their vision and dreams about the rebirth and thus increased the buzz. A brand new identity was created and a launch event was scheduled for August 5th 2015,  followed by a press campaign, all with the brand’s reputation for elegance and efficiency in mind.
