MoPay (‘I Pay’)

Cim Finance’s MoPay is a game-changer. It’s the first 100% digital Buy Now Pay Later solution in Mauritius, designed for Gen Z and Gen X with mid-range incomes.

In a market already replete with digital payment options, the challenge was to make MoPay stand out as the go-to solution for safe, easy, and empowering payments. With MoPay, consumers can purchase products and spread payments over 5 interest-free installments without putting too much strain on monthly cash flow.

Lemon crafted dynamic branding with “MoPay” playing on “Mo” (Creole for “I”) to give users a sense of control and ownership. A bold check mark symbolised trust and acceptance, while our visual concept graphically ‘sliced’ products into 5 parts to cleverly highlight the advantage of payment flexibility.

The MoPay campaign was seen on posters, leaflets and videos. Presented in Creole, the accompanying social media and digital campaign targeted early adopters, especially digital natives, through engaging online channels.

The vibrant launch positioned MoPay as the smartest, most accessible way for Mauritians to shop confidently and easily.
